In 2003, I embarked on a journey that would shape my career and my life. I came to the UK to pursue higher qualifications in pain management, a field that had always fascinated me. Back in India, I had trained in anesthesia, pain management, and intensive care at JIPMER, one of India’s finest tertiary institutes located in Pondicherry. But at that time, pain management was still a growing specialty, and I wanted to be part of its evolution.
